Re: POLL- How often do you do the MC?

I'm with Somer's idea to continually cleanse, and plan on doing the cleanse once a week to begin with. Monday works for me since I am more apt to eat less healthy on the weekends. I just finished a 30 day fast just before Thanksgiving though so am still enjoying the benefits of the Colon Cleanse and improved digestion. After 30 days though, solids were still passing so that indicated to me that my colon is still congested. I plan to strategize and do a parasite cleanse before my next 10 day flush but most important, it will be my body which will be my best indicator of WHEN to do a flush.

Remember, older feces float so would indicate congestion. That would be a good sign of needing to do a cleanse more frequently. Number of bowel movements per day would also be a good indicator. After each meal is a good sign of good digestion. Once a day or once a week indicates a sluggish colon and perhaps a need to cleanse. It is very prudent to flush the liver before and after an extended cleanse so that would also put some time in between cleanses. I find it does take planning and some focus to have the things needed to do the cleanses on hand, as well, to do all the *homework* and mental preparation to not only start a cleanse but to EMBRACE the cleanse as saying YES to yourself and not whine the whole way through it and constantly remind yourself how disgusting or time-consuming it is or how you just cant WAIT to eat again. The mental preparation was the most difficult part for me but once I had embraced doing something for my body and not just my brain which can often be ruled by my inner child when it comes to sitting down to a luscious bowl of ice cream, I found the idea of "taking control" empowering and easy to do.

My experience of reading and re-reading and collecting the anecdotal stories and shared experiences from the Master-Cleanse forum have been my best time spent and doing everything I can to support my cleanse....body-brushing, tongue-brushing, bathing, exercise, etc. have been a wellspring of motivation. At any given time, you will find 20-50 people posting or lurking at the forum to get info from. If you neglect the past posts you are limiting your success since there is so much info to be found and questions are answered in hundreds of different and same ways but as you read, you will find confidence and information to be inspirational and comforting. Thus, you will find yourself *choosing* to make choices that say YES to you and the quality of life you are seeking.

It is a personal journey and I wish each and all well on their healing path.

Blessings,
Zoe
