I've been using Green Gobbler for a few years and haven't had any obvious problems with the septic, no bubbling up, no smells. I bought this house three years ago and have no idea when the tank was last pumped. Buttermilk sounds interesting, whatever makes the septic happy and healthy. Happy septic happy home.
