I believe that cataract is an endogenous fungal infection of the eye. That is, a candida infection blood-borne spread to the eye from a distant site, for example, the digestive system and in particular, the liver.

In Chinese medicine, the liver externally opens into the eyes. In fact, the liver meridian is connected to the eyes and visual capacity mainly relies on the nourishment of blood from the liver.

Therefore, I think that a topical treatment, such as eye drops, is not sufficiant. I would do a liver cleanse, as described here: https://cilantronews.com/conjunctivitis/
