Here is another study about CoQ10 and parasites. The last sentence was important, I don't understand most of the medical study terms, but here it is " Results suggest that CoQ is ubiquitous amongst the protozoa, regardless of the presence of mitochondria, and may function in alternative roles to that of mitochondrial electron transport chain component." EVEN IF THEY DON'T HAVE MITOCHONDRIA (LIKE MAGELLENS) COQ10 can get in them source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7969263 PUT THE 2 ARTICLES TOGETHER AND IT EQUALS COQ10 shortens the life of all the worms.
