Re: Can magnesium in water disturb my fast?
Thanks for the advice/tips, it is appreciated <3 It's great that you pointed out the benefits of prebiotics after the fast, made it more clear to me. Also have a bottle of apple cider vinegar (with the mother) waiting for me in the fridge.
Well i'm not adding anything to the water but the filter itself adds a modest amount of magnesium to it. Fasting is ancient practice and water (like spring water) does always contain some minerals right. Little mg should not disturb the fast i think.
Hmmm. Not sure do i still dare to fast from water too or is it really necessary. I do have experience of that however. I went little crazy with fasting back in 2010 (21+21 days almost back to back and few months later during autumn, 27 days) and was 3 days and a few days later one week (my goal) without water(did get some through my skin) too during my fast (during one of the hottest summers in Finland in a long time)
My intention was to switch to "light food", to become a breatharian and kind of ascend in the process. My fasting was not pure since i drank about 2 liters of juice everyday + some water. This whole experiment was stupid. I was encouraged to this by one online friend who was not so mentally stable. I think i mostly we're but seriously misled and naive.
Isn't light exercise (simply walking in the forest), fresh air and sunlight good during the fast? My intention is to fast from internet too. My fast started today, the internet/media fast soon.
