After managing his Psoriasis on his lips with a topical steroid, they manage it with calcipotriene. Since exfoliative cheilitis is not an inflammation problem topical steroids don't work for us but calcipotriene changes the way our skins cells replicate.
"During the follow-up, the patient presented several exacerbations of skin lesions coexisting with labial lesions that had good response to calcipotriene."
