Re: Why Pray If God Knows Everything Any Way?
I would not want to read or promote books written by those in the immature Corinthian church either.
But I do not think Rick Joyner is just an immature Christian like those in the Corinthian church. I believe he is a dangerous false prophet. How do I know that? He has made many false prophecies and he promotes others who make false prophecies and just like all modern false prophets, he says those who say someone is a false prophet just because he has made a false prophecy is misunderstanding the teachings of the scriptures on this. He says someone who makes a false prophecy today is not under the same standards as those who made false prophecies in the Old Testament. He says the rules have changed for prophets but as we have discussed on here before, I see no place in the scriptures where the rules for a prophet have changed. If a "prophet" speaks for God, he must be 100% correct in his prophecy. I know you disagree with this as we have discussed this issue several times, but my stance on it still stands.
Add that to all the other false teachings, demonism, witchcraft, new ageism, etc. that I've seen come from Rick Joyner and his church, and it's a sure no go for me. And I will warn others about him when I get the opportunity.
Rick Joyner is also a "Knights of Malta" member, for whatever that is worth. Considering the agreement someone has to sign to be a member of the Knights of Malta, it's pretty scary to me.
This video is slow, but the music it kinda catchy so I'm dancing in my chair watching this, and my daughter is looking at me strange. :)

As for Tomi and his atheistic/agnostic videos, that's just where he is at and much of the world is at. I'm more concerned about the deception that is "within" the church. If people can't see the obvious wolves for what they are, what can we do? But it's the "wolves in sheep's clothing" that are harder to detect and need more exposing.
