I have no idea how spiritually mature Rick Joyner is. Too be honest I don't follow him. I have read those two books a long time ago which I believe are true.

I think the answers to your questions are found in Corinthians. God gives gifts to even brand new Christians who are just newborn babies in Christ. Spiritual maturity has nothing to do with it. I don't even claim to be spiritually mature myself, but I'm not a newborn either. The Corinthians lacked no spiritual gift from God and yet they were just babes in Christ. They were on the milk of the word when they should have been feeding on the meat of the word.

I don't know where Rick Joyner is spiritually. I don't listen to him normally. I do feel God has used him in some of the gifts. I don't know enough about him to judge one way or the other. Those two books are good and could really be a help to someone like Tomi who studies demonic material and posts it too, which then causes some others who read his posts to also become confused. It is true that you and I can easily recognize his demonic posts for what they are, but many are not able to do this. I get the feeling that Tomi posts these things because he wants to destroy my faith and the faith of others. He does it because he is not convinced that it is true. He wants me to become as confused as he is. We are both (Vekky and Rainy) much closer to God than that. Tomi doesn't have a chance with either one of us as far as confusing us or destroying our faith is concerned. Did you see where he asked me if I listened to the Bart Ehrman video that he posted? Did you read how he thought that if I listened to it that I would not have posted to him like I did? He was so wrong and so off about me. Tomi has no idea how strong my faith is. I might be spiritually immature, but my faith is very strong. I know your faith is strong too.

Anyway, read Corinthians for your answers to your questions. You will see how the Corinthians were just as much or maybe even more spiritually immature as Rick Joyner and yet God used them as He chose with His gifts. Tweet
