Re: Gallbladder pain - medication not working

I wouldn't be so keen on keeping your gall bladder if it needs to come out. The medications they use like ursodiol are just bile acids. Sometimes they can dissolve stones, sometimes not. It does not address any underlying pathology - just like all of modern medicine.

Most likely if you find the correct ayurvedic diet and adhere to it fairly strictly you will get fast relief. Gall attacks are technically a pitta type of episode though the underlying dosha imbalance could be something other than pitta. Pitta pacifying is a good place to start. There's a lady somewhere on internetland who was shocked that warm milk completely cured her pancreatitis attacks.

You're on Curezone, home of the liver flush, so that's another good place to start but unless you're in severe mindbending pain you should probably get the diet down first.

I think pitta based gall problems are easier to cure than vata/kapha.

Single pill remedies include: taurine, magnesium, beet powder, flax oil, lecithin, pulverex, chanca piedra.
