I've changed to a keotgenic diet to help heal my hypothyroid and lost weight and that's helping a lot (never thought I could lose weight with hypothyroid but I've lost 30+ pounds this year).
But in the meantime, does anyone have any thing that works to minimize the water retention? I exercise daily either biking or walking on my tread mill and that seems to help. But when I water fast, invariably I lost 15-20 pounds in the first nine days (2 or 3 pounds a day) which tells me I'm retaining water. (Before I had hypothyroid and water fasted, I never in many fasts lost so much weight in the first week)
