Interesting! Indeed similar. Great work! Anything history of human infection by hydras? If so, and assuming salt water, it would have to have been 4-5 years ago. Fresh water could have been several periods from recent on back. Cnidaria and Ctenophore larvae abd mature specimins that look jellyfish-like have recently been discovered by a marine bio grad student and sent to Smithsonian research - some look spot on like some specimins i have removed from skin too. A fungus makes more sense, but not matching up to anything - I'm hitting dead-ends, so any idea is going to be explored. Thank you! Tweet
