Skin parasite similar to Demodex with long worm body like hookwork. Body is at least 5 times length of Demodex and similar looking to hookworm. Is this a Helminth, Stongyloid, Hookworm, Cestoda, Threadworm or other Larvae?
Need help in identifying this parasite - responds (improves) to invermectin topical, internal mebebendazole, Albabendazole, and praziquantel, plus pyrantel paste (topical).
Looks like head followed by legs or Appendages, and then long body/tail many times longer than Demodex (microscopic photos only captured less than 1/4 of actual length). Lots of sticky biofilm expulsion. Any info appreciated
