Re: Verbal Abuse from my Doctor

No you should NOT be abused by anyone, especially the Doctor who you go to for HELP. To top it off you are PAYING for it! Some doctors think they are God now...

I'm literally SCARED of doctors now. After a 911 episode where in the ambulance I lost consciousness for over an hour, the lung specialist I later saw said I "should keep doing what I was doing", even though I kept ending up in the emergency room. Then I showed him the ProAir inhaler I'd been using. He looked me right in the eye, smiled and said, "That won't be strong enough to save you." Then turned and left without testing or a different course of treatment-NOTHING but a bill for for $250 dollars. I even had my daughter, who was 7 months pregnant in the room with me, so he knew I had stuff to live for!

I've always been respectful and polite too, so I just don't get why some doctors do like that... Tweet
