I only suggest this because your derm thinks it's an inflammatory condition. Perhaps it is, but an elevated neutrophil count is highly indicative of a bacterial infection. Maybe they did test this, and you can find it on your lab reports. I would also suggest that your immunoglobins be checked (such as IgE, etc.).
