Re: What water to drink during fast
Ron, nice try with your long response, however I disagree 100%.
You did not mention how long you fasted for. Everybody's bodies are vastly different. For me, my body can handle reverse osmosis water for the first week or two. However, after that my hands and feet could not get warm, and I could not fall asleep no matter how exhausted I was. It turns out this was a classic case of electrolyte deficiency. When I began drinking Smart water for instance, the symptoms subsided.
So YES, to all of the extended water only fasters is out there, I say if you are experiencing the symptoms of electrolyte deficiency then go ahead and drink smart water, life water, or take supplements.
Do NOT dissolve a teaspoon of salt and a glass of water and drink it. It doesn't matter if it is Himalayan salt or whatever salt you use. This is way too much sodium for your body to handle at one time and you will have diarrhea which will dehydrate you and take even more electrolytes from you.
