bad thing about those gallon jugs is that the recycle rating on them is 2. This means that the plastics leach back into the water in it. The large 5 gallon bottles from like Oasis and such rate a recycle rating of 7 which is considered safe. i live in a non-municipal water town so i just take my 5 gal. bottles down to the local grocery store and fill them with the "Glacier" reverse osmosis dispenser out front. i think this should be good.

i only used distilled water in my neti-pot.
