The idea is from a doctor; that said yeast can take any ph alkalic or acidic, but can take both. I would use an organic aloe vera gel as a base for the acidic part. No measures of essential oils just as I always do; by the hunch. Some Iodine / Lugols and there is no way for the bacteria to survive. Its been some years since I had to do this; so sorry for not giving exact measure.
ps love coconut oil but not down south:)
