Its official - I’m getting a Lip Reduction operation!!!

It’s already booked in two days. I paid £3k which is $4200 approx.

So I went to see a surgeon in London who basically told me that because I had EC he was not willing to operate on me as he worried the healing process of hyperkeritinized skin will cause further complications. He had done the operation before and specialized in skin cancer – but straight up told me he refused to carry out a lip reduction on me.

So then I went to see another doctor in Leeds who again told me he was unsure how I would heal because of my EC. I told him I was willing to take the risk and he agreed provided I pay the sum amount.

I paid everything in full and the operation will be held in Birmingham on Wednesday afternoon. I have had EC for 16yrs and has never healed. In the last 9 months I tried the moisture method since that’s what Daniel Miller did and instead of getting better it got worse and spread to the small areas of my lips unaffected by EC.

It was out of that desperation that I went ahead with surgery. I don’t expect them to remove all my EC area, but if they can remove 40% of EC affected tissue – I would consider it a success.
