Re: Breaking fast and IBS

Hello,
Be careful, my understanding is a Water Fast means to drink only water (preferably warm), when thirsty, and rest. Anything else than water makes the body go into “starvation” which is quite different than a water fast. What helped me was all the info on CZ and as well, reading the PDF of Dr. Herbert Shelton .
Here, I am suggesting that reading and researching is very important so to ensure people stay safe when deciding to go on a Water Fast or a “diet” that is a non-water fast and which is quite “different” than a Water Fast in terms of how the body behaves. re: less risk with a real water fast (drinking only clean filtered or distilled water), than “starvation”. There are also key items in a real water fast that is important to do, like dry skin brushing (brushing from toes to hips, neck to heart, fingers to arm, etc.) so to get your lymphatic system moving, waking slowly at least 200 yards (lymphatic system), having one or two Epsom Salt bath a week (warm bath, not hot), meditation, etc. Truly, there is key info on CZ and with the book of Dr. Herbert Sheldon: http://soilandhealth.org/wp-content/uploads/02/0201hyglibcat/020127shelton.III/020127.toc.htm
And yes, preparation prior to entering the water fast, and also when ending the water fast, are all important items.
Best wishes, be safe,
