I do my best to avoid hot food. Any time I cook food, I let it cool for 10-15min before eating. However, I still get the redness sometimes. I think it may be due to the chewing motion as well. I don't think it is a food allergy , but maybe eating causes the redness because it is constantly inflamed.
To answer your question, I think avoiding hot food will be best, but I don't think it is the cause of my condition.
