Hello there! A strict Water Fast is only drinking water, and nothing else. with that being said, only Jesus himself has managed that. The rest of us wee humans drink lemon/lime infused water, diet soda, teas (without sugar) and gums. Doing this, you may not get the same benefits as a strict water fast...but you do lose weight.
I'm on my fourth day, and I've begun to incorporate 120 calories with of Frootsie pre workout. Unlike many other water fasters, I've decided to stick with light cardio exercise (1000 cal - 1500 cal burned). Idk how much I've burned because I refuse to step on a scale, but all my family members have saved about how much weight I've lost. Hope this helps!
