At any rate my diagnosis was not RLS, but PILMS, a related but entirely separate aetiology.

But looking, this very night, day 5 into day 6, though I am skeptical as to ascribing it to fast, I had the first night in 40 years free of this problem

(Surely placebo-like effect)
