Dry Fast to Water Fast Transition

Hey, I'm ZJax. I am looking for an explanation to an issue I've experienced in transitioning from a 5 day dry fast(soft) to what was to be a 5 day water fast.

On the 5 dry fast(longest one I've ever done, previously did a 3 day dry fast) I felt surprisingly great. No major symptoms or issues. I did begin to feel a bit more fatigue and some slight lightheadedness upon standing on the fifth day, but as I said nothing major. However, on the sixth day switching over to distilled water within the third hour of breaking the dry fast(drinking within four hour 2L of distilled water) everything changed. What was slight lightheadedness became much more extreme upon standing. I experienced what felt like acid reflux a number of times. Also, it seemed as though the fatigue immediately became worse. What's puzzling is that upon just breaking my 3 day dry fast with orange juice and so on returning to eating, I experienced no such reflux.

The symptoms I was feeling were like I felt before on the tail end of an extended Water Fast I did two years ago. My question is why? I know some say 1 day dry fast is the equivalence of 3 days Water Fasting. If true, this sixth day would be akin to the sixteenth day on Water Fasting. Therefore,
Could this then be just a natural reaction? Did I drink too much water? Or could it be something else?

Whatever the case, this makes me want to just nix Water Fasting altogether and just do the dry fasting and then re-feeding returning to normalcy. It seems dry fasting works better and is easier to transition out of.

Any advice or info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
