Resting is the best way and is what is recommended. In my life i cannot always do things the perfect way. There can be negative and / or counterproductive consequences of not resting. The more you break the rules the less the results. I usually break the rules a little bit. I still have gotten results satisfactory to my goals. I have fasted 90 days in the past 26 months. I am only successful if I leave my primary residence and my work. i have never been successful to fast even 3 days around my home in NJ. On the other hand I have a 28 day and a 15 days and a 10 day and a 7 da. i am presently on a 10-14 day fast which will end when i hit my goal weight.
