Re: Almost cured by evening primrose oil

Hello Everyone,
I Thought for the sake of cataloging all results that I should share my experience with Evening Primrose Oil. On the recommendations above I decided to take 3 EPO 3 times a day (that is at every meal I took 3 Capsules 500mg each)

Although I am not sure you will want to try this after you hear my tale.
When I first started taking the EPO I actually thought it was doing something for my lips, however, by the end of the first week I began to doubt the efficacy of this product. Long story short, I took the EPO for 27 days and I had no discernible results for my EC peeling lips. I should also like to mention (because you guys are stubborn and don't listen) that My EC is almost undetectable and certainly not visible because I have managed it by taking Prozac 40mg. Before I started taking the Prozac my lips were awful with large yellow scales and such, check my older post if you want to see pictures and the full story of the Prozac. One beneficial result of taking the EPO was that my Acne cleared up almost completely. Perhaps I needed to take a higher Mg per pill and that's why it didn't work, but I only weigh 120lbs and I was taking 4500mg a day and I know that everything has a toxicity if a large enough amount is taken. I also did not use any kind of chapstick or aquaphor on my lips (mostly because I did not need to, because as I said with the prozac my peeling isn't really visible) so maybe that was why it didn't work. All in all I hope that my experience will allow others to evaluate the efficacy of this treatment. If you have EC really bad I would give this treatment a try even though it didn't work for me, however, if you do try it I would try a higher Mg but be careful not to take too much.
