a month ago I had large painful bumps on my back and along my ribs. Also had obvious infestation of lower legs. Attacked it with topicals- the 0.5% ivermectin was very helpful.
Have kept them at bay with the albendazole 10 cc twice a day. I still attach them with topicals. Previously they would respond and I'd have a re-infection a few days later. I believe the albendazole limits their response.
Symptoms in the last month. Raised small bumps under skin, on skin. Discomfort with itching. I can feel when they are trying to re populate. When I use topicals like benzl benzoate and 0.5% ivermectin cream, I get both many black spots which I attribute to mites, as well as hard crystaline material which I attribute to as eggs. After a major 'cleaning', both the bumps on my skin and my symptoms are much better. I did require topical treatments twice daily. I'm now to one a day and believe I can soon go to every other day.
