Re: A couple of questions before my first water fast
Hi!
I'm not by any means an expert but did an 11 day and a 21 day fast.
First enemas are definitely not needed. This is your time for your body to rest and doing so just adds more demand to your resting system.
I definitely had a good amount of energy during this fast. Especially these last few days (18-21) . I work at in an office environment so I was able to maintain my lifestyle.
The last fast I did I exercised but I now know that was definitely the wrong choice. My weight loss was slightly lower but the fast was much easier to manage. Last fast my goal was 21 days and I believe the exercise mentally made it easier for me to quit.
Honestly not sure about the white tongue thing. Sorry!
The average weight loss across the board appears to be 30
pounds in 30 days. A lot of factors play into this though. I tend to bloat a lot so I feel I hold a lot more water than most. In 20 days I've lost 32 pounds. I anticipate to lose one more tomorrow or perhaps none. All I did was short 10-20 minute walks around the neighborhood with my son.
For weight loss it seems the refeeding is most critical I'll start my journey on the refeed tomorrow and I'll also post my workout routine during the next 21 days of refeed. We will learn together how the weight stays or comes.
