Oh,I just remembered I also tried another calendula product before- Hyland's Calendula ointment or something. There was a post here years ago where someone had a lot of improvement using it and there was a lot of discussion about it.

It didn't work for me though. It has petrolatum and all it did was make my lips very white and thick. It moisturizes but anything with petrolatum turns my lips all white, and the growing skin soaks it up and becomes all thick, white, and smelly. Aquaphor does this too. Apparently ointments don't work for my lips. Creams work better for me but it's not as moisturizing. Tweet
