So WS gave good answers. I will say it in other words.

During a water fast, nothing but water goes in your mouth, no toothpaste, supplements, etc.

All you have to do is drink warm water as per thirst, stay warm and rest as much as you can.

Let your body do the healing and cleaning while you abstain from food.

Take one day at a time. You will go far that way.
