Pineapplehead, thanks for sharing your experience. With my reading, it sounded like ideally you fast until you experience the true hunger. Then I had all these questions.
It's strange that though fasting has been around for so long, it's still such a mystery in the mainstream. I looked up "how long can a person live without food" just out of curiosity as to what I'd find & it sounds so dire and horrible when not eating for days is discussed. They often mention Gandhi and his 21 days and that people often die around 60 days.
This site helps me to see it's worth sticking to. If I hadn't found it, I probably wouldn't have stuck with it this long.
