Re: Fasting failure

Hey you sound pretty desperate. I was too, did yoyo for years trying different types of diet, my weight went down back up. I changed my approach 2,5 years ago and over 24 months lost 40lbs and hav stayed there. I knew how to eat to get me there but did not have the rIght psychology. For any sustainable change 80% is psychology and 20% competence. By what you write it seems that you are reacting to your circumstances and that you have beliefs that are holding you back. For example you say you have lost 10lbs and that you should have lost more, well is that true you should have lost more. This expectation is probably causing more damage in you that anything you eat. It is important you get a hang of any thoughts you believe to be true that are not. The other part is what you eat, I follow food combining principles as researched by Herbert M Shelton. For example eating carbs with proteins will not digest as the enzyme that breaks down the protein inhibits the enzyme to digest the carb in the mouth. Eating sugar with proteins or carbs will lead putrefaction or fermentation in the stomach. So you can forget loosing weight also when foods are poorly combined. You are putting even more pressure on yourself with fasting. You cure is inside you. Hope this helps a bit along your path.
