Yes it's a great program, it is called The Good Life here, the BBC have made some pretty good shows over the years but then we all have to pay a licence fee to the BBC so they get plenty of money to make good programs. It's like the BBC David Attenborough Wildlife series, they are so spectacular, even my son loves watching them, especially the ocean ones. If the licence fee was scrapped the BBC would have to be like the other channels and have adverts but that is not in the pipeline. I actually don't mind paying the fee because we do get spectacular viewing but I feel comedy has been lacking in the BBC for a long time. I am sick of watching BBC Casualty it runs for several months prime time viewing Saturday night, it's a hospital series that I can't stick, it's been running years and I don't know why!
I should point out not everyone is happy paying the licence fee but if you have a TV you have to pay it.
