Updated Message...I think it's just short of £150.00 per year for a colour tv licence and that includes watching it on the Internet, you have to sign up to an account to watch BBC iplayer which enables you to watch BBC on the net but you don't always get to watch top blockbuster movies so obviously there is a reason for that. I prefer to use the t v myself.
My favourite tv series are anything to do with David Attenborough and these are often tied into courses with the Open University at first level. This is probably because I was raised like that, it was not unusual to get kids Encyclopaedia for Christmas or Kids manuals. I can remember winning a book at school when I was about nine and you guessed it, it was a kids encyclopaedia. I also use to do a lot of sewing when I was young, I was always cutting things up and the final straw came when I cut my younger sisters hair so mum got me a book on sewing and I use to make all the kids little bears and owls out of old clothes that joined my and my sisters little youth club we use to hold round our house once a week after School, girls only! They were happy days, we even had a fancy dress party and walked around the village, my sister was an apple tree! The winner was dressed as a pirate who ironically went onto become a police woman! Her sister I wouldn't say she is famous but she is well known in the entertainment business was founded by Little and Large who were a comedy duo, she appeared in the West End and has sung for Royalty, she now does cruise ships.
