Re: Antibiotic infusion for eradicating blastocystis and d.fragilis
I know this post is at least 4 years old so if you read this I was wondering what
parasite did you find?
I took pictures from what I see in my stool that are about the size of grapes to a Vet and asked him if he knew what it was. All this year's of not knowing and I have a expert who said he sees them plenty but usually in Cattle. He asked where I got that from I told him me and he stopped himself and said he wasn't a people doctor and couldn't tell me what it was. He said for me to go home and research Roundworm and Hookworm, I replied
Ascaris and he asked me why I said that one as he shook his head up and down without answering me.
He said it's very common in cattle and humans get it, I described some things I deal which most of us on here complain about and he said that's what happens with these types of infections. He said he treats animals with pyrantel pamoate for 5 days on and 5 days off and then 5 days again and that does it. You can buy pyrantel over the counter at Walmart but in liquid so I have no idea how much ml vs mg to take.
It's 11mg per 10 lbs in pill form but nothing I can find in liquid so if anyone knows.
I have done over 10 stool test and each time they are negative but I have the support of my doctors who believe me about this infection so he keeps ordering stool test. I called Labcorp last week and had a long talk with the tech there asking him why they can't seem to find anything because I am sending grape size eggs and one time I sent at least 15 worms that were at least 12
inches long.
So all of us that get the
parasite ova test are not having it done correctly, they get the samples and put them in a machine that doesn't look for bigher eggs etc... So they told me to have a visual ID test so they can see them.
