It could end up permanent.

For myself, Milk Thistle, NAC, and ALA are where I would start. Also would get a blood test ASAP to see bilirubin levels, etc. Also, if urine is very dark, check the pH, could be very acidic which can quickly kill the kidneys.

Drink plenty of good clean water.
