It works almost every time I do it, but somebody will warn me I could damage my eardrums...
WHAT I DO is to sit, lean forward, head down by the knees, and pinch both nostrils closed;
The gently "blow" without letting air out, you feel the pressure inside your sinuses;
Then one side will go "pffffft" and then the other, and then before sitting up, pinch nostrils and SUCK IN air gently [but no air moves, it just creates a vacuum].
Sit up.
I often notice a huge calmness. My tinnitus is reduced. And my sinuses and nostrils are clear.
