Which is better usual braces or invisalign?

I do have a crooked canine teeth. I’m planning to get braces. I heard about invisalign from my friend. She told me that there's no food restrictions and trouble while opting invisalign. Is this effective as the braces? Will the invisalign invisible braces will really remain invisible? Can I remove the braces when I want? What about the cleaning procedure of the braces?

I’ve only heard about the pros of the procedure. What are the cons of it? Does it require more time than the regular metal braces? Is this considered as a cosmetic procedure? I’m hoping it’ll be much expensive than regular braces, is it so? Where can I enquire about this whole thing nearby Aurora, Ontario?
