Re: iodine and other micronutrients

Even before drs notified me of my thyroid problem in the emergency room in April, I had a hunch that I had thyroid problems on going, because when I would swallow, I could feel a lump. I began taking Iodine a few weeks before my hospitalization (I had severe bacterial bronchitis) and I will never take it again. Though it may be a healing agent for most, for me it caused anxiety. I have NEVER suffered from anything like that in my life. I was using 150 mg a day for a few weeks. I don't know if it was a detox symptom, but it scared me. The anxiety is almost gone completely, but Lugol's is not good for my body. I believe there is Iodine in the synthroid, but it may be a different formulation because I do not experience what I did while taking lugol's Tweet
