ndiana1, I hope you're doing well! I'm really happy to hear that your odor finally went away, I really hope you can finally live your life to the fullest and get over the bad times you had with this terrible condition. Me personally, I have tried zinc and magnesium together but it didn't make any difference and also I started taking 300 mg of Ryboflavin vit b2) But I still have that acid/moldy/oniony/weed armpit and groin odor, It's disgusting, I can't even stand it!! I suffer from pcos as well, which is weird because I have normal periods, Just some little hair on my neck and nipples, and I'm kinda "underweight" I'm 5'8 and weight 118 lbs. I also got my thyroid checked about 3 times between 16 and 18 I'm now 21. The first and third test was normal, the second one showed hyperthiroidism (T3 and t4 high, Tsh low, low calcium) They referred me to an endocrynologist but I couldn't go :( So, you think it could be our hormones like thyroid or as we suffer from pcos, maybe it's high testosterone in our bodies that is making us smell? I thought mine was bacterial and I used hibiclens and clyndamicin topical Antibiotic and fusidic acid but they only help like 10% to reduce the odor so maybe it's not bacteria in some of our cases. What is the name of the brand of niacin you took? I heard that niacin is kinda dangerous for the liver and brain but the ammount you take is safe under the 2 grams that are risky, how long did you spend taking these supplements? I'm thinking about going to an endocrynologist but I'm afraid to go you know I just hate going outside, I hate going to college and using the bus, I think it a lot before I go out, I'm afraid to go because is one of the best clinics yes I'm trying to go there because there are so MANY ignorant doctors here, and there are rich people and they're going to be bothered by my smell, and maybe they ban me from going there :( This is just a nightmare :(
