Thank you so much for replying! I've read many of your posts and replies and they have been very eye-opening. When I turned 12, I became vegetarian (I don't like the taste of meat and didn't eat much before). Three and a half years ago, I stopped eating dairy and eggs as well. I will continue my vegan diet once I'm off the fast. I now understand that I have to reintroduce foods and quantities slowly. It makes me feel confident that you feel that 30 days would be okay for me.
UPDATE:
This morning, my tongue has a thin white film over it. My weight is 136, body fat 23.8%, water 55%, and muscle 35.8%. I'm using a scale to determine this, but I know it's not the best method. I'm just using it as a marker. I might use a more reliable method after the fast to find out my actual stats. I feel normal, good even. Not really hungry or tired. Yesterday, I felt hungry pangs (not true hunger) throughout the day and drank water when I felt them. I didn't drink much water at all, maybe 1/4 of a gallon. I'll try to drink a little more today. I felt very unmotivated to work, however. I don't leave home and my job requires me to sit at a desk and type (more brain work involved than physical activity). Other than that, it was quite good for the beginning of my third fast. Not much else to report, going into Day 2 now.
