Re: A Theory on Disease: Disease Load and Pathogen Diversity

This is a strong valid argument against unregulated immigration, and no politic people talk about this as if this is not a problem, but indeed depending on your ancestors (and the environment where they have survived in and adapted, you will have more immune defenses against some parasites and less immune defenses against "foreign parasites".

This is why i highly recommend to be careful where you eat (because in some restaurants, some foreigners may work in the kitchens and touch the foods, and if they don't follow hygienic practices (like waching their hands carefuly after going to the wc) there is a risk to contaminate the foods with eggs...

The other problem is the importation of some foods from regions of the world where there are "foreign parasites" and these foods can become contaminated and sometimes the process to produce the foods does not kill the eggs...

The other problem is the importation of "foreign external parasites" like mosquitoes/taons/flies/spiders and the parasites that they cary and can transmit to any human who get biten by it...
