Depends on your goal.
I have this observation though.
The first 2-3 days are the worst. In fact days 2 and 3 are the hardest.
IMHO for most reasons its pointless to subject yourself to that and then stop a day or 2 later.
To maximize the effect for that pain, 13 days is my sweet spot. You have a raised metabolism for 4 days and peaking HGH for 5-12 (observed) and no chance of any organ damage till day 13 atleast.
I already only eat 1 meal a day, so 24 hr fast is a normal day for me. So your observation may be different.
