It is great that you want to fast and you are just 17. This first week, when you are off from school will be easy for fasting, but later on it will be very hard, especially that you are underweight.
There are a few things that you may do besides fasting. You are probably not hungry because your stomach lacks good amount of acid. Try the acid test (google it) and see if you lack acid. If you do not have good acid then apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and some
Sea Salt mixed in some water before meals will help. You will also benefit from Betaine HCL tablets.
Cholesterol is a big myth in this country partly created by doctors and drug companies. Your body produces cholesterol because your brain needs it. It may be producing more because you are not eating good fats and your liver function is compromised.
Fast away, but be careful, take one day at a time. Drink water only and rest.
