Underweight, starting 30 day water fast to regain hunger signals - safe?
I'm 17 old and rarely feel any hunger (it's been like that for months) - I'm also out of school for this week, so I thought this week would be the ideal time to begin a 30
Water Fast (since the few days of ketosis have always made me feel physically weaker.)
I've done 2-3 day
Water Fasts in the past, but have always broken them because I get really tired by the 2nd or 3rd day. This time, I want to continue because I want to FEEL and SEE my body detoxifying itself (gross I know, but so satisfying!)
Anyways, I just want to make sure that the reason I feel physically weak during the first few days isn't because I underweight (I'm 5'2 and 96.4 lb, last time I checked.) I've been underweight for years now (ever since I lost a lot of weight when I was 13 years due to depression) but I feel natural except for my lack of hunger signals. I nearly always force myself to eat. My hope is that
Water Fasting will reset my hunger so I can FINALLY eat with pleasure.
I also want to lower my cholesterol levels (my family has high cholesterol) and aim to end the fast and continue my life with a Nutritarian lifestyle.
