I avoid Magnesium Stearate like it's a poison. It makes my face, tongue, hands, lower legs and feet swell up. If I take something at night that has it, I wake up the next morning with eyelids swollen half shut. If I take it in the morning, a ring that I put on my finger easily in the morning will only come off in the evening with soap and water.

MS is in probably 99% of the pill and capsule forms of supplements available on the market as well as OTC medications and prescription drugs. It's in EVERYTHING even self-proclaimed "quality", higher-priced products.

It isn't a nutritional supplement and it doesn't occur in nature. It's created by a man-made chemical process then added to products as part of a cheaper manufacturing process that prevents the product from clumping and sticking in the machines during manufacture.

For nutritional supplements, I search for bulk powders on Amazon that have ZERO fillers and lubricants. They contain ONLY the active ingredient unless a natural filler is absolutely required for supplements that have a microgram dosage, such as B12. Bulk Supplements and Pure Bulk are great brands. Also, Dr Ron's and Pure Encapsulations manufacture capsules without Magnesium Stearate. They are more expensive (that is why manufacturers use MS) but also more effective and worth it.
