Re: Chinese herbs when water fasting

My teas contain a mixture of different herbs every 2 weeks. I know herbs for liver and kidney support were used, but I don't think it was the specific ones you mention. I strongly believe in the power of herbs but I think there's something else going on with me. Maybe leaky gut, as you mention in my other post.

I just saw my herbalist earlier today. We agreed that after almost 4 months of herbs, I would take a 2 week break. The thinking is that maybe my body is becoming too used to the herbs and thus the progress has halted.

I am disappointed to say that I will try using steroid cream for 5 days after the 2 week break out of desperation and some peer pressure. I have barely left the house for over a month! I miss the forest, but it's still cold here and it hurts to put on clothing :(

My herbalist did mention emotional stress (tying in with the liver) as a trigger, especially to sudden onset of eczema in adulthood. I did go through some changes prior to eczema and I have never been good at expelling my emotions.

I will look into milk thistle as well. I have tried to take a close look at my eyes to read them but I would like the assistance of a professional. I can clearly see radii Solaris and nerve rings in both eyes.

Sad to see herbs being abused for money! The people are also to blame because these days herbs hold no power or significance to the average person. Hoping this will soon change.
