I can add that the BEST way to speed processing is to Charge your distilled water batch with 25% of Colloidal Silver . This action increases the current trough the electrodes to greatly reduce the processing time.

I also suggest NOT using additives of any kind. The black deposits are easily cleaned with an abrasive sponge, or with a paper towel.
