Re: Psyllium Husks Powder Contains Cancer Causing Chemicals?

According to info on the Univ. Minn. website, plants in general don't absorb or accumulate lead in soil unless the lead level is high. The maximum level considered safe typically is 300 ppm. The main danger comes from lead getting on the plant and being consumed, so washing should help with that problem.

Regarding a psyllium husk supplement, I've been taking Optimaprime Life psyllium husk for about a year and really like it. I notice a difference when I stop taking it and I'm happy with it. At first it took a couple of days before it kicked in, but it keeps me regular like clockwork. The only place I can find it is at Amazon.com, so if you're interested you can search there for Optimaprime Life Psyllium Husk.
