Re: Parasites and quick weight gain - hope?
Yes, once you get this problem sorted you will feel better. Sounds very comforting that your naturopath is taking care of you.i am quite sceptical about the anti parasitic products they use but if it works for you it is great. I certainly think you should be cleansing longer than 3 months.
parasites have several life cycles and you need to cover those, so i would say min. 1 year. Otherwise there will be some left and you will not recover. Weight gain is typical with roundworms although you probably have more than that.
coffee enemas are not for people with roundworms as it makes them excited so good you stopped. Saline enemas work just as well if you want to try. Have you passed anything suspicious? It would be a good idea to inspect your stool so you can get an idea. I guess it sounds horrifying but it is important. Weight gain is also to do with your changed body chemistry and digestion. Add a teaspoon of papain powder (the pills are worthless) to cranberry juice or some fresh papain with skin (well washed though!) to a fresh smoothie Am and Pm and it helps tremendously with fat/protein digestion for the time of your cleanse (can be used for months if needed). Dry hair and dry skin comes from the same problem, changed lipids in your body, the
parasites love to steal from you. Make sure to take extra supplements like vit E in alpha d oil, borage oil, coconut oil, and lots of extra virgin olive oil on your salad. It should help. As for the heavy metals, it is usually a cofactor with parasites. It takes months if not a year to remove most accumulated toxic metals. I use spirulina and chlorella daily. You can use fresh coriander and parsley leaves daily as well, just dont overdo. Also trace mineral deficiency is usually a problem, like potassium, magnesium, calcium and other minerals. These should show up on your hair analysis and need to be supplemented. Night wakings or teeth grinding are the overload of toxins
parasites excrete your detox system is trying to remove at night. Detox supplements can help, some amino acids, and kidney and liver supplements, also spirulina. Work on your gut biodome with yoghurts, probiotics, and probiotic foods too. You will get there just dont give up. It is not easy but persistence pays off.
