That's a great way to look at it Refreshed. The prophets of old penned the Bible as God breathed it to them. Jesus is the word of God. Jesus is God. Any true prophet today giving a true word from God would be getting it from Jesus. Therefore, one can say Jesus is the only Prophet. I never thought of it that way. Of course there are other meanings for the word "prophecy" other than getting a direct word from God. I think that is what is confusing some to call true prophets false. Prophesying can also mean to speak. Some prophesy what they want to happen because the Bible does say that we can have what we say. Of course, there are parameters to that, but I think some of this is confusing Vektek. She posted that Kim Clement said that he would live well into his nineties. I tried to find it on the Internet, but could not. I think that could have been a case where he was prophesying the other way and not a direct word. Many people do that. Of course, the Bible does refer to some people as "prophets" so it all depends on how you look at it. So yes, you are right when you call those who share the gospel a "Prophesying Witness". This does not have to mean that they are getting a direct God breathed word.
